Day one- check!!!!!
Thank you so much for your patience today with our dismissal. We realized that there are some immediate things that we could do to make dismissal more efficient, so we will be better tomorrow! You can help us by having your IDs ready and a pen ready to sign out; pulling all the way up to the front and having your number visible but not laying on the dashboard. If you could tape it up so we can see it that would be most helpful!
For our families of students who ride the bus I wanted to let you know that our buses were not on time dismissing today. As the week goes on buses will be better as well!
We appreciate your patience! Can’t wait to see all our beautiful students with that twinkle in their eyes tomorrow!!!!

Good evening families! Another reminder that tomorrow will be our Drive-By Meet and Greet/supply drop off for Green Pod!!! Please swing through the front loop between 1-1:45PM.
This week we have experienced close to 150 changes to either PM dismissal or parents of voluntary remote learners stating they want to come back to school. This has caused a lot of extra work and confusion. If you have any changes to transportation they must be received by 11:00AM tomorrow and you must come to school after 12:00PM to pick up the information needed. Remote learners must stay remote until 10/1 when we can re-evaluate and make a plan for your child to return.
Parents cannot make a change to parent transport for dismissal any day next week. We cannot accommodate parents who show up unexpectedly to pick up their child next week. I thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Laura Meka JTPS Principal

Good evening families! A message from Mrs. Meka at JTPS! I just wanted to thank you for all your help and support with teachers and staff over the past month of distance-learning. On Friday, May 1 there will not be any new slides. Please take this time to catch up, read, do something mindful with your family or focus on something you would like to learn about. As always stay safe and know that we are sending you lots of love during this difficult time.🥰
We are looking into why kindergarten students are having technical difficulties with signing in to iready. We have been in touch with technical support and they are working to find a resolution. We will be back in touch once this is sorted out. In the meantime iready is one of many viable choices from the bingo board, so students are encouraged to select another activity. Thank you!
